Holmes Place sought GMAP’s location planning expertise to create an Ideal Network Plan to help them identify the most optimal locations for their concept gym ‘Evo’ to be launched across Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
The Approach
- Using CAMEO, a demographic profile of Holmes Place clientele was created.
- The demographic profiles of the proposed Evo locations within catchments of 0.5km, 1km, 2km, 3km, and 5km were indexed against the demographic profile of a typical Holmes Place customer.
- Competitor gym locations were captured and mapped alongside key facilities such as bars and pubs, coffee shops, supermarkets, and transport links to determine the most optimal locations.
The Conclusion
GMAP’s customer profiling and analysis allowed Holmes Place to better
understand their customers
and their characteristics, whilst the demographic profiling and point mapping within a series of catchments enabled Holmes Place to identify the strongest locations
for their Evo gyms.
